GENERAL QUESTIONS
CHI is located in West Greenville’s new Poe West development, and our front door is just to the left of Carolina Bauernhaus. Our address is 556 Perry Ave, Suite B114, Greenville, SC 29611. View the map.
Poe West offers plentiful on-site parking free of charge.
The Truist Culinary & Hospitality Innovation Center (CHI) is the continuing education (non-credit) half of culinary arts education at Greenville Technical College. Find out more about Greenville Tech’s degree-oriented culinary arts education options at the Culinary Institute of the Carolinas.
We do not sell gift cards at this time.
When participating in hands-on cooking courses at CHI, it's recommended that you wear closed-toed, slip-resistant shoes and limited loose or "flowy" sleeved clothing.

Doors lock automatically after regular business hours but are open at the start of every class. If you arrive late and are locked out during your class time, please call 864-250-8446. Note that this phone number is only monitored during class times that are outside of regular business hours. During regular business hours, dial 864-250-8835 for assistance.
While every effort is made to accommodate food allergies, CHI is a teaching facility that includes the preparation of all foods. Please be aware that our menu items may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish or wheat. Please call 864-250-8835 before signing up for a class if you need to request accommodation for any allergies or dietary restrictions.

SIGNING UP FOR CLASSES
See a list of upcoming classes»
- Click on the name of the course you’d like to attend and then click the link to “Sign up online.”
- From the course page, choose ”Enroll Yourself” (the button is located just above the yellow bar with the description).
- First-time users will need to create an account.
- Choose the appropriate “Optional Fees” as needed (for example, “With One Child: $39”).
- If you’re taking the course with another adult, be sure to select the appropriate optional fee as many CHI courses include a discount on registering two adults together.
- Choose “Proceed to Checkout,” fill out your credit card information and then choose, “Payment Service.”
- NOTE: On the “Choose a way to pay” page, the “Pay with PayPal” option is NOT operational. This page ONLY allows the “Pay with credit or debit card” option.

A variety of grant funding and scholarship opportunities are available, primarily for people interested in job training. At this time, CHI does not offer auditing or Plan 60 registrations. See the college’s policies regarding Plan 60.
Unless explicitly stated in the course description, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
